Our Journey
Welcome to Willis Country Cabins! We are Lila and Daniel Willis, proud parents of six wonderful children and your hosts here in beautiful East Texas. After moving 16 times throughout our marriage, we've finally found our home and purpose in creating a tranquil retreat for families and friends.
Our Vision
Our journey began with a vision to provide a gathering place for those special moments in life—be it family reunions, weddings, events, or just a peaceful getaway. Frustrated by the lack of suitable venues for our own family gatherings, Daniel dreamed of establishing a luxury resort that could accommodate larger groups while offering a home-like atmosphere.
Built with Love
Together, we built this haven from the ground up, as a family, nurturing it with love and hard work. We homeschool our children and embrace a lifestyle enriched by gardening and caring for our farm animals.
Special Touches
Our 16-year-old daughter, Kate, adds a special touch to our resort by offering pony parties and a miniature petting zoo for our guests.
